How can I live my best life everyday?

It is important to identify what makes you happy. Once you have a clear understanding of what makes you happy you can go backwards. Asking other people how they live their best lives every day is also a good idea.

You can also read books by Wayne Dyer, such as "How to Live Your Best Life". He talks about finding happiness and fulfillment in all aspects of our lives.

What can you do to boost your immune system?

The human body is composed of trillions if not billions of cells. Each cell works together to create organs and tissues that fulfill specific functions. Another cell takes its place when a cell dies. Chemical signals, called hormones, allow cells to communicate with each other. Hormones regulate every bodily process, from growth and development to metabolism as well as immunity.

Hormones, chemicals that are secreted throughout the body by glands, are chemicals. They are chemicals that travel through the bloodstream and function as messengers to control how our bodies work. Some hormones are made internally, while others are created outside the body.

Hormone production begins when a hormone-producing gland releases its contents into the bloodstream. Once released, hormones move through the body until they reach their target organ. In some cases hormones can remain active for only a few hours. Some hormones remain active for longer periods of time and can continue to have an impact on the body's function long after they are gone.

Some hormones can only be produced in large quantities. Others are produced in small amounts.

Some hormones only are produced during certain periods of life. Estrogen is one example. It's produced in puberty, pregnancy and menopause. Estrogen aids women in developing breasts, maintaining bone density and preventing osteoporosis. Estrogen promotes hair growth, and skin stays soft and smooth.

Ten tips for a healthy lifestyle

How to lead a healthy lifestyle

Our fast-paced world means that we aren't getting enough sleep, don't eat enough, drink too much alcohol, and smoke too many cigarettes. We don’t care enough about our health.

When you work full-time, it is difficult to maintain a healthy diet and exercise program. It is even more difficult if you feel stressed. Then, your mind tells yourself that it cannot handle this situation any more so we feel guilty about it and give up.

You may feel that something is not right with your body. Seek out a doctor to discuss your current health condition. If there are no signs of something abnormal, stress from your job could be the cause.

Some people think they're lucky because their jobs let them go to the gym on a regular basis or they have friends who help them stay fit. But those people are actually lucky. These people have no problems. They had everything under control. I wish everyone could be one of them. Unfortunately, most of us don't know how to balance our work life and personal life. Many people end up with bad habits which eventually lead to diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer and many others.

Here are some ways to improve your daily life.

  1. Sleep well - at least 7 hours per night, maximum 8 hours. This includes good sleeping habits and avoiding caffeine for the last hour before bed. Caffeine blocks the production of melatonin hormones and makes it harder to fall asleep. Also, make sure that your bedroom is clean and dark. You should use blackout curtains if possible, especially if your work is late at night.
  2. Good nutrition is key to a healthy lifestyle. Avoid sugary products, fried foods, white breads, and processed food. Lunch should include fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. It is recommended that afternoon snacks be high in fiber and protein, such as nuts and seeds, beans, fish, and dairy products. Avoid junk food like chips, candies and cakes.
  3. Drink lots of water. We don't have enough. Water can help us burn more calories, keep our skin supple and young, flush out toxins and improve our digestion. You can lose weight by drinking six glasses of water per day. The best way to measure your hydration level is by checking the color of your urine. Dehydrated means yellow; slightly dehydrated means orange; normal means pink; overhydrated means red; clear means highly-overhydrated.
  4. Exercise - Regular exercise has been shown to reduce depression and increase energy levels. Walking is an easy way to improve your mood. Walking is easy, but it takes effort and concentration. Walking requires your brain to be focused on the task at hand, and you need to breathe slowly and deeply. Walking for 30 minutes at a steady pace can help you burn between 100 to 150 calories. Start slow, and then increase the pace. Do not forget to stretch after exercising to prevent injuries.
  5. Positive thinking is vital for mental health. Positive thinking can create a happy atmosphere within us. Negative thoughts cause anxiety and drain our energy. Try to visualize the things you are aiming to achieve. You don't have to take on all of the new tasks at once. Break them down into smaller tasks. Be aware that you will fail at times, but don't despair. Just get back up and start over.
  6. You must learn to say No - Too often we get so busy we forget how much time is wasted on things that are not important. It is important that you learn to say no when necessary. Saying 'no' does not mean being rude. Simply saying "No" does not mean you are rude. There are always other options to finish the job later. Try to set boundaries. Ask for help. Or simply delegate this work to someone else.
  7. Take care of you body. You can boost your metabolism by eating healthier foods. Avoid heavy and oily foods. They can increase cholesterol levels. Good advice is to eat three meals and 2 snacks each day. Your daily calories should range from 2000 to 2500.
  8. Meditate - Meditation can reduce stress and anxiety. You can relax your mind by simply sitting still with your closed eyes. This will help you make better decisions. Regular meditation practice will make you happier and calmer.
  9. Don't skip breakfast - Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Skipping breakfast could lead to eating more lunchtime. It's never too late for a healthy breakfast, as long as it is eaten within an hour of your waking hours. Eating breakfast increases your energy level and helps you to control your hunger.
  10. Eat clean food - Food affects our moods more than we know. Avoid junk food and any food products that contain artificial ingredients or preservatives. These products make your body acidic and will cause you to crave them. A variety of fruits and vegetables is rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that can help improve overall health.
